"This astonishing short Twine game combines beautiful art with beautiful writing to create something...well, it begins with a B. Play it, even if you think you don't like Twine games – then play it again."
- Tom Sykes, PC Gamer
"The Domovoi is a literary game, both in that the quality of its prose draws clear and intentional inspiration from books, and in that it's concerned with excavating the secret signals embedded in the space between its text and the reader's interpretation thereof."
- Douglas F. Warrick, author of "Plow the Bones"
"[The Domovoi] is plucked from Slavic folklore and the actors are new to me, which made playing through the brief encounter a pleasant educational experience. It helps that the story is delightfully – if sparsely – illustrated, flickering with a glow that fits the setting and mood."
- Adam Smith, Rock, Paper, Shotgun
